Nicola Allardyce

I joined the school's board of governors as an associate member and was delighted to accept the role of SEND Governor from the start of Academic Year 2024-25. I have nearly 25 years educational experience working across Scotland and England in a variety of roles. I began my career as a Primary and SfL (Support for Learning) Teacher in Aberdeenshire, Scotland before uprooting to London in 2012.  There, I naturally evolved into SENCO roles then into local authority Casework Officer roles expanding over the 0-25 age group including Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post-16. Having thrived in several SEND leadership roles, at local authority level, I now want to enhance my professional journey by supporting the children, families and staff at Chapel Allerton Primary. Outside of work, I enjoy dance, music, songwriting and everything linked to the creative arts.
