Hello! I'm Laura Lascelles, and I am thrilled to join as a new governor. For the past 10 years, Chapel Allerton has been home to my husband and I and our 2 children. Over this time, we've grown to love the vibrant local community and I am keen to be giving something back. 

Professionally, I bring a wealth of experience as a Delivery Consultant and hands-on Director in private equity-backed financial services organizations. My career has been centered on strategy setting and delivery, always with a keen focus on executing within time and budget constraints. These roles have honed my skills in strategic planning, financial and risk management, project management, and leadership.

My passion for education drives my commitment to ensuring that every child has access to high-quality learning opportunities. I am eager to contribute to the school's success and collaborate with the entire school community to achieve our shared goals.

Outside of work, I love swimming, diving into a good book, and brushing up on my French. Most of my free time, however, is spent ferrying my children between their various sports clubs.

I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm, dedication, and experience to the role of school governor and making a positive impact to the school community.
